Background: We want to try and capture some of this amazing work going on around the world during the ImmerseMe Games so we'd love for students to submit a video of themselves (incl a screen recording) completing a lesson successfully so we can cut together a summary of what the ImmerseMe Games has actually MEANT for languages education.
Reward: $20 iTunes voucher to each student whose video is selected from every language (9x vouchers available out of French, German, Spanish, Indonesian, Italian, Mandarin, Japanese, Greek and English - which is only available to ESOL/EAL students)
Tip: Do one of the restaurant/bakery/cafe/street units which has a cool background within the lesson! Be yourself and smile! Show us those language skills!
Deadline: Midnight Thu 28th May (NZ time), winners drawn by Friday 5th June
Entry: Email your video to hello@immerseme.co or use WeTransfer (https://wetransfer.com/) please include your NAME and SCHOOL.
Written instructions:
- Open Zoom.us (or some other application which will allow you to record your video, microphone, screen AND computer audio all at the same time)
- Click 'New Meeting'
- Start your video, check microphone is unmuted, click Screen Share and tick 'Share computer sound' then Share (this will allow us to hear the audio from ImmerseMe while you're using it)
- Choose your ImmerseMe window (full screen)
- Within your Zoom settings click 'More' then 'Record on this Computer'
- Start your ImmerseMe lesson and work through to the end of the lesson - don't forget to smile and bring some ENERGY!
- Within your Zoom settings click 'More' then 'Stop Recording'
- Once the video has finished exporting,email it through to us on hello@immerseme.co (or use WeTransfer -https://wetransfer.com/) please include your NAME and SCHOOL in the message.
