Instructions
- Set up your Oculus Rift.
Follow this video made by Oculus to setup your Oculus Rift/Rift S and ensure your system is working correctly before proceeding.
- Open a Google Chrome browser through your desktop or laptop.
Do this step using your computer screen so your Oculus Rift can see there's an active Google Chrome browser. We will be streaming this screen directly to your Oculus Rift.
- Navigate to ImmerseMe and log in.
Enter my.immerseme.co in your Chrome address bar to navigate to the ImmerseMe login screen. Log in with your email address and password.
- Navigate to your Oculus Rift's home screen.
Now, using the Oculus Rift's headset and controllers, find your device's home screen by selecting the Oculus button on your Oculus remote.
This will bring up the Oculus Rift's home screen as shown in the image below.
- Add a Desktop Panel to your Oculus Home Screen.
Select Add Desktop Panel from your Oculus Rift's Control Panel. This will bring up some options which will be covered in step 6.
- Stream Chrome to your Oculus Headset.
Select Google Chrome from the menu. This will load an instance of the Chrome browser from your desktop or laptop straight to your Oculus' headset.
- Enjoy ImmerseMe in VR!
You should now have a live stream of ImmerseMe as seen through your Oculus Rift's headset. You can now interact with ImmerseMe using your keyboard and mouse, or the Oculus Rift's provided controllers.
